Stefan Schmid – COO

Stefan Schmid has been part of the DTI Group since September 2022 and leads the operational business of the DTI Group in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over 25 years of management experience and over 15 years in senior positions in management and technology companies, he brings extensive expertise in the areas of digitalization, transformation and innovation.

Career

In various management positions at the Trendcommerce Group, Stefan was most recently responsible for the project and integration business for new and existing customers, the development of new and the optimization of existing software solutions and production processes, procurement and operations in Switzerland and abroad, as well as assurance and compliance for customers in the Swiss and European financial sector.

Previously, Stefan learned his trade at BSG Unternehmensberatung AG as a management and technology consultant in the fields of information management, engineering & technology management and project management.

As a graduate engineer in electrical engineering and information technology and an Executive MBA graduate from the University of Liechtenstein, Stefan combines technological expertise with strategic management and entrepreneurship.
