DTI Schweiz AG appoints Stefan Schmid as COO

Stefan Schmid has been a member of the Executive Board of Trendcommerce (Switzerland) AG and Trendcommerce (Liechtenstein) AG since 2015. Most recently, he acted as COO (Chief Operating Officer) and was responsible for projects, development, procurement and the operational printing and packaging business of the Trendcommerce Group. Until August 2020, he held the role of Head of Development and Innovation and was also responsible for assurance and security in the highly regulated financial environment. Prior to that, he worked for BSG Unternehmensberatung AG for 5 years as a management and technology consultant in the fields of R&D, industry and eGovernment.

Stefan Schmid holds a degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the ETH and an Executive MBA from the University of Liechtenstein. He has been at the cutting edge of technological development throughout his career and is a welcome addition to the core competencies of digitalization, transformation and innovation. For COGNAiO, the digitalization ecosystem of DTI Schweiz AG and DTI GmbH in Cologne, Stefan brings many years of expertise in the areas of customer communications and output management and complements the topics of IDP, AI, content service, CCM and search.
